Panchang -Hindu calendar

Tithi, Vara, Nakshatra, Yoga and Karana are the five basic elements of Pancha-anga. For all calculations we follow the Chitrapaksha Ayanamsa, popularly called Lahiri Ayanamsa. The Panchang details are as on that date at Delhi.

The table bellow provides the monthly panchanga. For panchanga of any date including Chandra Bala, Ashtama Chandra, Ghata Vara, Rahukala, Gulika, Yamaganda, Vara Durmhurtha see below..

Rahukaalam also called as rahukaal in Hindi, rahukalam, rahu kal, rahu kalam is the time in day which is called the time of Rahu. Rahukaal varies with day or date and the place.

That means rahu kaal keeps changing for different days and is also different for different places(difference is due to the change in standard time).

Any holy , auspicious or good work should never be started during the rahukaal. Rahukaal lasts for nearly one and half or not more than 2 hours.

As per Indian mythology and vedic shastras it is recommened to avoid doing good things in this time span. Note: Rahukaal is not dangerous, its a myth. But the fact is, the work you started in Rahukaalam duration will be delayed or get bored of that work..

You can also check the Rahu kaal today as below table. select the options to display according.. The below table show the rahukaalam of the day.. Select the options
